Can see why people have long arm machines which have a bigger throat to manhandle quilts though (although this observation should NOT be taken as a precurser to me spending a lot of money!)Hazelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18191107549698019812noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-718656223712727253.post-83994915410541400612011-05-23T10:32:53.254+01:002011-05-23T10:32:53.254+01:00Well done you - I've seen quilts made by women...Well done you - I've seen quilts made by women who've been doing this for years where the stitching isn't anything like as neat and even as yours.

As for the wrestling - did we have a conversation about putting a bit of silicon-based furniture polish (Mr Sheen type stuff if it is still available) on a cloth and wiping that over the bed of your sewing machine? (DON'T spray directly onto the machine .....)

And you do have a pair of gardening gloves with bobbles on, don't you. Try not to grip the quilt so tightly that your fingers look like claws - you will end up with exhausted hands and very stiff shoulders.BilboWagginshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06913801147278606148noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-718656223712727253.post-2092739428953101302011-05-23T00:40:22.748+01:002011-05-23T00:40:22.748+01:00Very nice. I love your design.Joannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10434220084140118982noreply@blogger.com
