Having been given a jelly roll and a quilting book for Christmas 2010, there is no excuse not to get on with quiltmaking.

    1. A bit eye-wateringly bright - unless you are a baby!

  6. Wonderful quilts, many congrats for getting them completed so quickly. Hope you gave yourself a pat on the back (or a glass of something tasty) to celebrate - you deserve it :}

    1. About six weeks for the two, Bilbo, start to finish (and that includes a couple of evenings on re-embroidering the labels), so I'm pretty pleased with that, given what else has to have room in my life too.

    1. Hi Bev, thanks for stopping by! I didn't have enough of the stripey fabric for a border, but I'm really pleased with how it looks as binding.

  8. I can't tell you how much I love these! I have never been a fan of "cutesy" quilts and things for babies. I generally like regular quilts, just smaller, for babies. These fit the bill perfectly. They are bright and fun but not "cutesy". Perfect!

    1. Thanks, Reenie. I wasn't sure on what size to make these when I started, but like all quilting decisions you seem to know when it's 'right' somehow.
