That's all washed off in huge bubble bath, though, and I'm ready to sew - and this is where those lovely jingly bells come it!
I've been making some tree decorations for a stall at mum's church Christmas fete in a couple of weeks time, and they've turned out rather lovely so I think I may keep a few back!
So easy to make too - I took a charm pack of Christmas fabrics
Put two pieces together back to back sandwiching some fusible interfacing between them.
I quartered each square, they cut round the double sided little squares with pinking shears.
I put then together in pairs, with a piece of ribbon between them as a hanger, and zig-zagged on the machine along the diagonal
I curled the points together on each side and secured with a star and a bead, and put a bead and a bell on the bottom to finish.
How clever. I bet they sell out fast.
ReplyDeleteHope so, Sue - not sure about what to price them at for the stall.
DeleteThese are very cute! I will have to show these to my SIL as she like to make these little ornie things.
ReplyDeleteI'd be delighted if she puts some together, Sharon.
DeleteVery clever. I agree with Sue - just the sort of thing which will sell very quickly at a Christmas fete.
ReplyDeleteDid you invent them or find the idea somewhere online?
Thanks, Bilbo. They were the result of a brainstorm session with Rita, but she did say she thought she'd seen something like it on one of the creative channels.
DeleteLove them. It's a nice way to show off some of my favorite Christmas fabric. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThe beauty of these is that you can use up your Christmas scraps and oddments on them.
DeleteThese are so sweet! I think they will be hot sellers and look so great in a group!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lesley - I hope they will sell well!
DeleteVery cute.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sunny!
DeleteSo lovely!
