Well, I'm back now, and have found a little time this week to do some sewing. Although I'm afraid that it is all terribly hush hush at the mo, and you'll have to wait for a little while in order to see what I've been up to.

I machined the binding on for speed, which I was fairly happy with, although it did feel like a short cut, and the stitching was not as invisible as I would have liked.

Eleanor's Quilt is beautiful! I love the borders on the top and bottom of the quilt.
ReplyDeleteThank's Lesley! I really must do something about a headboard for the single bed in the spare room - it looks very austere without!
DeleteThat looks great Hazel. I love your extra borders, they really work well.
ReplyDeleteI'm more than pleased with how those borders fit in, Sue - thank you for the design, and for all your help with the block resizing too. :-)
DeleteI think it's beautiful. The quilting looks great and the colors look perfect together.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Joanna - I'm delighted with the outcome, but more importantly, it's a hit with Eleanor!
DeleteThanks, Mrs P! :-)
ReplyDeleteWoefully AWOL here too, and I don't even have a lovely holiday as an excuse.
ReplyDeleteMany congratulations - beautiful quilt :}
