Well, I don't know about you, but we have a serious case of AUTUMN in the English midlands - the nights are drawing in, the leaves are changing colour and falling off the trees, and there has been a distinct nip in the air the last couple of mornings.
The park looks like this:
And I've been playing 'catch a falling leaf', and winning!
But for one weekend only in November, it will be CHRISTMAS around the quilting world, when it is my pleasure to be your hostess for this Christmas QAL stitching session - we will, of course be having one final weekend in December where we can gatecrash the lovely QuiltSue herself like a bunch of hooligans and show off all that we've been doing these past few months.
But meanwhile, you are all invited over to my place this weekend to come and finish off (ha!) your Christmas challenge pieces (no red or green in a Christmas quilt? Madness, I say!) and join in with some fun and games.
I think that you all had a whole heap of fun over at Joanna's last month, whilst I was on my holidays, and we're all going to have quite a weekend again!
I can promise you something involving this...
And something involving these...
And, actually, something involving these - but you don't have to join in that one if you don't want to! Tee hee!
So do come along and join the fun! I'll have a Mr Linky set up on the QAL tab at the top there, and I'm looking forward to seeing you all!
O dear I did not get to go to Birmingham or join in with the crafting :( I was rushed into hospital a few hours after I commented. On the mend now but not feeling the best it looks like you all had a good time. I'll try and get my scheduled sewing done when I'm feeling a little more human. xxx
Dear me, Melanie, that's terrible! I do hope you are feeling more yourself now. What a scare - and such a shame to miss the NEC, I bet you had been looking forward to it. Get well soon! x
Sounds like a party! I plan to attend!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome. Lesley, and I look forward to seeing you! :-)
DeleteI'll be joining in. It should be fun. I can't believe we're this close to the end.
ReplyDeleteTime flies, huh, Joanna?
DeleteI'll be by on Sunday!! Can't wait for the festivities.
ReplyDeleteWe'll be ready when you are, Sunny! :-)
DeleteI'm looking forward to it already.
ReplyDeleteShould think so too, Sue - planned your boozy QAL dinner yet?? :-)
DeleteI'll be there on Sunday. Off to the NEC Saturday to Hobbycrafts and Crafts for Christmas . At least I'll be in the Christmas spirit. :)
ReplyDeleteOh! You will show us what you come away with, won't you. Melanie? And wave when you go by - I'm about 10 miles from the NEC!

I can't wait! See you then.
ReplyDeleteWhoop, whoop! See you then, Donna! Oliver cat sends his best regards to Ms Cha Cha...
DeleteAutumn colour here too but we have had the first snow in England (not exactly at Bag End, but on the fell tops).
ReplyDeleteThat's a very snazzy pair of running shoes, Ma'am :}
Love the beautiful pics on your blog of the fells, Bilbo. :-)
DeleteThe trail shoes have the treads of mountain bike tyres - hope they keep me upright on Sunday am - eek!
