Finally got the time to post and catchup with the QAL and yes I think the yellow looks lovely. Did you pick courgettes and raspberries yesterday, and I can't come and try your gingerbread. Too far.
Lovely to see you, Sue - glad you could drop by. :-)I picked courgettes, rasps and a few runner beans - surprisingly tender, even at this point in the season. Wonderful.Hope you are enjoying the quilt show.
or putting the wrong date on an invite and not being in when people arrive ....
The doorbell rule seems to be that invited guests do weedy doorbell presses which don't always 'ding', and delivery chaps clonk the door and bell with simultaneous vigour. Hey ho!
At least that's "all" your delivery men do. Whilst all our regular delivery chaps are lovely and laugh at Daisy it's when we get a newbie who doesn't know the route that things get interesting.A gate with two bolts and a 'private' sign has failed to keep unwanted two-legs out of the Cottage Garden, eventually I will blog about the new gate and HUGE sign we've had to resort to.
Yes, I'm ready for some gingerbread men. Love, love the aroma of gingerbread baking.
It was heavenly in the kitchen this evening, Joanna - cinnamon and ginger - mmm mmmmmmm
Yellow will be wonderful! And please save me a gingerbread man!
Wait for it, Lesley - gingerbread men tomorrow!
Well I wondered when the baking was going to happen. You promised me some food after all.
You have no patience, Sue! ;-)
I am a little late for the party but I have finally posted for this month and just in time for some cookies , yumm!
You'll have to be quick with the cookies, Sheila - QuiltSue will have 'em all if you don't hurry! :-)
