Having been given a jelly roll and a quilting book for Christmas 2010, there is no excuse not to get on with quiltmaking.

Christmas Quiltalong! February, pt4 - final

...and now I have completed my first block - hurrah!

One seam I'm not happy with and I may redo tomorrow, but for now, I'm quilted out.

I'll have a look around and see how the others are doing, but that's all from me for my first QAL session.

I've really enjoyed myself, and I'm looking forward to next month already - many thanks to Cathi and Sue for today!

  2. Well done you ... now, tricky question - have you measured the size of your finished block?

    That's the proof of whether things are going as well as you hope they are.

    "All quilted out" huh? Oh yes, you're a proper quilter now {gg}

  4. Tackling the second block today - and today my breaks will be taken with travelling round Yellow Book gardens with Bilbo {smile}, rather than travelling round the world with quilters.

  5. Hazel, glad to have provided enjoyable distraction.

    You'll be surprised (now you have been initiated into the mysterious world of quilters!!) how many of us sew during the winter and garden in the summer. You will find yourself quite at home :}
