Isn't this brilliant fun!
Although I must say that I nearly turned blue in the face from this exercise, holding my breath with every double-measured, triple-checked cut of the big friendly squares.
No rhubarb wine for me whilst this was going on!
But it was well worth the effort, as I have ended up with a pile of sixty-four identically sized mini blocks, all ready for a spot of quilt magic...
That looks brilliant, glad you survived the terror of having to cut up perfectly good blocks that you had spent hours getting right!
ReplyDelete(still chortling with a smug air ....)
PS: are you doing ANY work at present, either in the office or at the Lottie? You do seem to be spending an awful lot of time on this quilting lark, ha ha ha
ReplyDeleteThat is a scarey bit isn't it? Taking perfectly good blocks and eeekk cutting them up.
ReplyDeleteI hope you treated yourself to a very BIG glass of the rhubarb wine after that?
Lots of brow-furrowing went on that evening, Bilbo! Doing your time stretching thing at the mo - it'll come back to bite me on the bum no doubt when I have a day I can't settle to achieve anything!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely afterwards, Sue!
